About Daiso Don Quijote Store and Small Stores
This is a story about when I was looking for aluminum wire to use for crafting. I decided to visit the Daiso Mega Don Quijote store, thinking it would be better to go to a larger one if I was going anyway. It was so vast that I couldn't figure out where anything was, and when I asked a busy-looking staff member, they just pointed to a map and said, "If it's not here, we don't have it." I found several wires of different materials on my own, but they were only about 5m long, so I passed them by... Next, although I didn't have high expectations, I also went to a nearby smaller Daiso. I found the area I was looking for, but the wire there was steel. However, it was wider and the same price, but surprisingly it was 15m long!! It wasn't the product I was looking for, so I decided to ask a staff member there as well. After they told me they didn't have aluminum wire, they took out a tablet and checked if it was available at nearby stores within the city. As a result, I ended up buying several 15m steel products there and headed home. So, this is a story about how you might encounter unexpected products or receive attentive service from staff even at smaller stores.

It was the staff's attitude, not the store's size, that made the experience so pleasant. The debuff called 'price hike' is a really serious issue. Thank you for sharing your valuable experience!

Thank you for participating and posting_(._.)_ I understand what you're saying. I'm also the type to ask store clerks a lot of questions, and I get the impression that clerks at smaller stores often know the exact location of products. Many of them can quickly guide you there. Also, here are some things I often say to store clerks w "It used to be here, but is it out of stock now?" "I'd prefer this color of this product." ↑I'm such a troublesome customer hahaha But they'll go to the back, check the inventory, and even place an order for you, showing great kindness. It's easier to approach store clerks at smaller shops, so it's easier to ask them things(^^) Sometimes, a product you want might be out of stock at a large store but available in large quantities at a smaller one.
