When you clear a stage, you get sent to a place like an extra stage called the Shell Research Lab, but there's no need to do it, it's a waste of time. You should focus on progressing through the quests. If you do this, it will take more than double the time to advance your quests.

You can skip the extra stage by pressing X. If you don't want the items, it seems unnecessary to play it.

Glad I didn't have to do that stage! I thought the items you get might be needed later (>_<) I want to progress the quest, so I'll skip it. Thanks for the info 😊

However, if diamonds are the reward, there's a hidden quest to earn a certain amount of free diamonds, so it's not entirely wasted. That's something that needs further verification, though.
