Shibuya has changed too.
I heard that the Seibu department store in Shibuya's Center Gai is closing in September, so I went to check it out. I could definitely see why it's closing. I got hungry, so I saw a place called 'Kyoto Tonkotsu' near MUGENDAI Hall and went in. It was different from my image of Kyoto; the strong flavor of the dried sardines, the dynamic richness of the fat, and the thick noodles all came together, and I really liked it. Even though it's ichiban dashi (dried sardine broth), it had a clean taste without the bitterness of the Shinjuku shop. It's sad that this area, except for Keika, has changed so much.

It's sad to see Shibuya's cityscape change, but I'm glad you found a delicious rich pork broth and dried sardine ramen. The soup in the photo looks super rich, I can't resist! lol

The big chashu and chewy noodles are the best.
