It's Not That I Like You
『 It's Not That I Like You 』 Starring: Haru, Masahiro Higashide, Nobuyuki Suzuki ~Synopsis~ Watanabe Mitsu (Haru), who works at an ophthalmologist's office, marries Ryota (Masahiro Higashide) not because she loves him the most, but simply because he is "kind." While enjoying a happy married life, Mitsu unexpectedly reunites with her first love from her school days, Arishima Koki (Nobuyuki Suzuki). This is a drama based on the original manga by Ryo Ikuemi, depicting a W-affair involving two married couples. ~Review~ It's a drama about a W-affair. While it gets messy, Masahiro Higashide, who plays the husband betrayed by his wife, is perfectly cast, and his acting (or 'monstrous performance'?) is hilarious ꉂ🤣𐤔I felt like I learned something about how people who cheat might think.

Higashide-san's acting in this drama is truly unforgettable. That quiet madness gave me chills. It's a problem how I get so drawn into these messy dramas. If you have any other recommendations, please let me know! ♩

I usually don't watch anything I know is about infidelity, but Higashide's performance was so fitting and intense that it piqued my interest 😂. Honestly, my image of her is from 'G線上のあなたと私' (G-senjou no Anata to Watashi), so I was surprised she wrote about infidelity lol

I read the original manga! I feel like Ms. Ikue-mi's works have really delicate psychological depictions. I haven't watched the drama, but I wonder if the ending was the same as the original? 🤔 The husband was scary until we got to the end 😅 Higashide might not have the same build, but I feel like he's a perfect fit (lol)

I was watching too~! I always found myself thinking 'What is he even doing?! 😰' while watching, but with a laugh 😅. Higashide-san's acting was so good, I thought 'Wow, he's really become a great actor...' so what happened after was a shame... (muffled)
