Cake for Seconds

For our second cake, the shop we usually go to was apparently closed, so we tried a new place. Lemon Tart and Cream Coffee Brulee. My husband had the Lemon Tart, and I had the Cream Coffee Brulee. The Lemon Tart had a slight bitterness from the lemon peel, the fresh cream was elegant, and the tart base was a little moist. The Cream Coffee Brulee came with unsweetened coffee jelly on the side, and fresh cream piped on top. We got to taste both the brulee and the coffee brulee flavors. It was fluffy and melted in my mouth! It was our first time at this shop, but we'll definitely be back☺︎
