How is everyone spending their Silver Week holiday? The weather is also improving in the latter half, making it perfect for outings ð What's concerning, though, are the silent calls to landlines (-_-;) Actually, I received a suspicious silent call right before posting this! I wanted to share some crime prevention tips, so I looked it up separately ð§ I hope it's helpful ðâïž

My house sometimes gets one-ring calls. What are those about? Since it's a landline, I don't call back even if it's a one-ring call because there's no caller ID, but are they expecting a callback? It's a bit creepy. Also, I have my answering machine on, and people with actual business will leave a message even if it's on, so I pick up then. It's a bit tough to just endure the ringing, but most calls hang up after a while on the answering machine, so they're probably spam calls.

My parents still use a landline, but it seems like there aren't any silent calls. It would be scary if I got one though ðš
