Queen's Classroom
Starring Yuki Amami, it's a story about children challenging a relentlessly strict teacher. With today's values, 'getting into a school with good grades' feels a bit off, but the teacher's lessons are quite sound. The scene where she powerfully delivered a 'steel fist' punishment to a student who said, 'It's not like it matters if someone like that diesâŠ' was intense.

Yuki Amami's overwhelming acting and educational philosophy still make me feel upright when I watch it now. I can't forget the intensity of that scene where she laid down the law, even as an adult.

I like Yuki Amami ð She had a mask-like expressionless face in that drama, but wasn't the background story of how she became like that also depicted in the special? I also remember the episode where she acted like a demon even during breaks on the set of that drama.

I've also rewatched it many times because of my parents!! I started with the Korean version of 'Queen's Classroom', but the Japanese version was definitely better lol

The Queen's Classroom was really good. It's a drama that should be aired in this day and age, but given the content, it's impossible to broadcast it entirely ð
