Halloween & Thanksgiving are coming soon!ððŸ
HalloweenððŠðžâê³ & Thanksgiving Design Festival are just around the corner! Looking back at past designs, I'll share a bit about my creation processðŸ â First, I take out everything I want to use and zoom in as much as possible. I place items while thinking, 'What could go here?' as if I were actually walking around the area. â¡ I also utilize tall trees and buildings. Not only does this add depth, but I also adjust placement considering the small shadows they cast directly below. ⢠I repeatedly zoom in and out to check the balance. Since designs are displayed small during voting, the colors and shapes when shrunk, and the overall 'weight' are important. I prefer not to make them symmetrical, but rather balance different shapes and colors. ⣠Researching the theme is also crucial. For Thanksgiving, I'd research things like the Mayflower or harvest celebration culture and create while thinking, 'What fits this theme?' Since many players are international, I'm mindful of cultural and background consistency with the themeðŸ ⢠is especially important! â Continued in comments

AuthorNo matter how well your decorations fit the theme, if the overall balance is off, it'll look messy when scaled down. On the other hand, even with limited decorations, just adjusting the placement and color balance can make a big difference in impressionâºïž

Wow, what a wonderful farm! I really admire how you even considered the balance when shrunk down. I want to try and be as thoughtful in observing and placing things in detail too âš

AuthorBy the way, Hay Day is also recommended for those who want to enjoy farm design, not just farm management. The decorations are cute, and I think there are surprisingly few games where you can freely arrange things and create landscapes like thisðŸ
