The Story That Wouldn't Let Go

The story about my friend's acquaintance from last time? This is a story from a different tape than the previous one. My friend titled it: "The Curse of the Black Cat 🐈⬛". "It's about a story involving a work colleague. While the colleague was walking with his girlfriend to their first shrine visit of the year, a black cat crossed their path. They continued walking, and another black cat crossed their path. ...Just before reaching the shrine for the New Year's visit, yet another black cat appeared. Despite feeling uneasy, he proceeded with his girlfriend. After pushing through the crowd and entering the shrine for prayers, they left. However, afterwards, he kept catching glimpses of strange things. His girlfriend, noticing his odd behavior, asked what was wrong. When he explained, she said: 'Hey, did you properly pass through the torii gate on your way back? If you don't pass through the torii, strange things tend to follow you.' Apparently, the colleague rushed back and passed through the gate. Then, on their way back, another black cat appeared... It was reportedly parked in front of someone's house. A Yamato Transport delivery truck 🚚 was there too." After listening to the tape, I sent an email: "What's the curse about the black cat? It doesn't seem related, does it?" "Don't tell me, the colleague named it that and told the story..." It was a story that wouldn't let go.
