Full Moon Snack Attack!
Excuse me again. Today, September 25th, is the 15th day of the 8th lunar month, which is the 'Full Moon Festival' (Jusanya)ð In China, it's called the 'Mid-Autumn Festival,' and there's a custom of eating mooncakes. Missing my time in China, I bought and ate a 'Yamazaki Mooncake' from a nearby supermarket. It has a red bean paste filling mixed with ground sesame seeds and pieces of walnut inside, and it's delicious. My favorite is Nakamuraya's 'Nut Mooncake,' which is tastier than Yamazaki's, but it's hard to find ð By the way, playio is holding a 'Let's Collect Luyo's Dango!' campaign, but has anyone tried the 'Moon-Viewing Dango (the dumplings on the stand below ð)'? I see the picture of 'Moon-Viewing Dango' every year but have never eaten them, so it remains a mysterious food. My mother, who is from the countryside, said, 'It's made with rice flour.' If anyone has eaten 'Moon-Viewing Dango,' please share your experience! ð I hope everyone can see the full moon tonight! ðïž

It's sunny enough, do you think the moon will be out?

Greetings ( ÂŽ ✠` )ïŸâšïž That's nice â¡ Mooncakes â¡ From a story I heard long ago, about those moon-viewing dumplings, they say that if you peeled taro and decorated them like for moon viewing, neighborhood kids could eat them without getting scolded⊠I don't know if it's true though ð§âŠ I remember it feeling a bit like Halloween~⪠Dumplings or buns, it seems it varied by household, maybe it's related to harvest celebrations? ( 'Ï' )Hmm⊠It's autumn. Now I feel like eating ohagiâŠð§

Mooncakes are delicious, aren't they? I'd love to have them with some tasty tea while watching the moon.
