Ah, you're making a VTuber! Besides 3D, there's also a technique called Live2D for animating 2D illustrations. How about starting by separating a single illustration into parts?

This might not be the answer you're looking for, but you can stream with regular illustrations on IRIAM. People with a bit more money, like Fukumon mentioned, use Live2D images.

Are you streaming yourself? You're working hard when you could just listen in if it's just for points activities.

I think commissioning an artist is your best bet... I recall that doing Live2D on IRIAM from the start wasn't really feasible.

With just one standing illustration, anyone can stream on IRIAM with blinking and mouth movements! You can also do LIVE2D streaming, but I believe the LIVE2D slot isn't unlocked until you have 3 months of streaming history and receive 200,000 points from events, so it's tough unless you stream a lot and get dedicated listeners who will give you points 💦

It's great if you can draw it yourself, but if not, it's probably best to ask an illustrator. There are people who will draw it for around 30,000 yen, so that might be a good starting point. Also, you could try radio streaming until your illustration is ready! 😁
