Nice to meet you, and I need your advice.
I've drawn the background, but I'm torn between making it dark or bright. The darker version harmonizes better with the characters and composition, but considering the original source, 'Backrooms,' I also want to emphasize the creepiness that comes from brightness rather than darkness... Which one would be better? ð¿

The thick painting is too good, she's too beautiful...

I thought the dark background was better because the characters are so lovely, it really draws the eye! But the composition that expresses the original vibe is also great... it's a tough choice ð£ How about prioritizing either the background or the characters/composition this time, and then focusing on the other for your next piece? I hope this suggestion is helpful ðŠ

I thought it was good because the darker background gives a sense of depth and makes the characters stand out more ( * à¥ê³ à¥*)

The depth is really well done, and the perspective is amazing!! Sorry for saying this with my unskilled eye, but for the fluffy parts and fur, I thought adding some shadows here and there to bring out the 3D feel of the house might enhance the fluffiness or fur texture even more.
