What's Watts??
I saw a few people in this 100-yen shop thread writing 'From Watts~' And I was like, 'Is Watts really What's??' so I looked it up, and it turns out there's one super close by ð It's Watts, not What's. And since it's just a section inside supermarkets and drugstores, I never even recognized it as a store name... There are surprisingly many kinds of 100-yen shops~

The name 'Wats' sounding similar to English is indeed interesting. It's like when you realize a place you casually visit is actually a specialty store, it feels like your world expands a bit. Thanks for sharing this new discovery!

That's true! I've never seen a Watts store on the street. The Watts near me is also a tenant inside a supermarket.

Watts stores are usually found in a corner of supermarkets. I think they're one of the more well-known 100-yen shops. (The big four: DAISO, Seria, CanDo, and Watts) I get the impression that many of their products are the same ones you find at Seria or CanDo.

Besides Watts, there are also stores under different brand names from the same group, like meets., silk, FLET'S, and Hyakuen Consulate.
