Caution Regarding Rain

Due to the stationary autumn rain front, strict vigilance is required for prolonged rainfall in Kyushu, with some areas experiencing flooding caused by linear precipitation zones. The front is expected to move from Kyushu, Chugoku, Shikoku, and Kinki, then exit towards the South Pacific from Tokai. Consequently, areas directly beneath the front need to be wary of incoming rain clouds, while the Kanto region will experience weather conditions that call for a folding umbrella. Most of Ibaraki, Gunma, and Tochigi, along with Fukushima and Miyagi prefectures, will not see clear skies but the signs of rain are weak. On the other hand, Hokkaido will be directly hit by a cold vortex, resulting in a day of incessant rain sounds. The cold vortex is expected to rapidly intensify with the rain front by tomorrow, necessitating caution in all Tohoku prefectures. Typhoon No. 26 is located south of Okinawa, with a central atmospheric pressure of 980hPa and is still strengthening. Although no strength or size categories have been announced, it is expected to be relatively small and slightly strong, and is forecast to be announced as a strong typhoon tomorrow, with its future path heading south of Shikoku. While its trajectory towards the northeast within the forecast cone is confirmed, the cone itself is very wide, suggesting increased unpredictability due to its interaction with the rain front. The long-term forecast indicates the next typhoon approaching next Saturday. With isobar lines indicating 4 or more, it's expected to be a strong low-pressure system, so continued attention to typhoon information is necessary.
