Been slacking off lately

I've been playing at my own pace for several years, as it's a game I can play casually with almost no competition. For the past few months, I haven't felt motivated. I wonder if I'm just bored, or if I've lost my purpose... I log in once or twice a day, do my tasks, and then I'm out!! I've heard that many veteran players have quit and then returned, and while it's true you can quit anytime and the time away doesn't matter for returning... I might start playing more frequently again if I get motivated. Still, it's definitely a game I can recommend without reservations.
