This is bad...

☔️It's raining... pretty heavily. This is serious, right? 💦 The place I used to live was a town of sorts (not a city), with residential areas but also a fair amount of rice paddies and fields. It was on the rural side... which is probably why it didn't suffer flood damage during the Tokai heavy rain. According to my neighbor's wife, 'This area still has rice paddies and fields, so there was somewhere for the water to go, that's why it was safe~' Yeah, there were rice paddies everywhere nearby. Even in my current neighborhood, when I first moved in, there were rows of rice paddies along the road in front of my house. But in just a few years, they've been filled in all over the place and turned into a neat residential area. Now there's a small concrete-covered? drainage ditch along the road, with little holes to let water out. Is that okay? I'm worried about flooding 💧 It's all been filled in everywhere, I can only worry about flooding.
