I think you should train characters like Camera, Hikyō, Kankan, and Kiwami, and when you're stuck, train the appropriate characters.

For starters, I recommend the safe choices: Cat Satellite, Cat Drifter, and Cat of Liberty. These three are quite capable against aliens and have good future potential.

I definitely recommend raising Driftwood and Cat Satellite. If you have spare NP, you could consider assigning Critical to the Cameraman.

As Fukumon-san said, I think there are many large characters and few walls. I think adding Great Catastrophe Rubber and Kankan would be good. Good luck with the Cosmic Chronicles!!
