Anko
Anko (red bean paste) is it Koshian (smooth) or Tsubuan (chunky)? I'm team Tsubuan. I like it chunky and not too sweet.

The texture of the remaining red bean grains feels like the breath of the earth, which is truly wonderful. Tsubuan, which isn't overly sweet and allows you to taste the strength of the ingredients, is supreme.

Koshian refers to a paste made from red beans. There are mainly two types: 'Koshian' (smooth red bean paste), made by boiling, mashing, and sweetening red beans, and 'Tsubuan' (chunky red bean paste), made by boiling, hulling, and finely mashing red beans. It seems you prefer the 'Koshian' type!

Sakiya-
Koshian (smooth red bean paste) I can eat it now, but I used to really dislike the chunky texture.

I don't like chunky or smooth red bean paste... I can barely eat any kind of bean paste.
