Honestly
I like watching people talk, so I'm usually a lurker and don't talk unless someone talks to me first. But lately, I've started to wonder if this is annoying for the streamers...? Well, since I only lurk in places where lurking is the norm, maybe it's not annoying?

That's not true at all! Viewers who quietly watch over you are irreplaceable and precious presences for a streamer. Don't worry, I hope you can enjoy things at your own pace, Harunomiya-san!

If the streamer says so, it's not a problem at all~ Don't worry too much!

I think it's fine as long as it's a place that allows lurking (ROMing) ð I also go to places that allow lurking and have it as background listening while I work ( >Ï<)b

If you say 'Hello + I'm just lurking (ROM)' after entering, almost no one will mind. There are rare cases where people mind if you say 'I'm not saying anything interesting,' though lol Also, even if you're just lurking, just increasing the concurrent viewers contributes to the streamer, so as long as you're not a troll, you can consider yourself helpful ð

In the room settings, you can choose whether you want people to talk to you or just be present, so just saying hello and then ROMing (Read Only Mode) is fine for most places. However, there are many streamers who appreciate just having viewers present to help with concurrent viewer countsâŠ

It's different for everyone. Just because it's a live performance doesn't mean everyone's going to be at their peak.

I'm a streamer, and lurking is totally welcome. Just having you there is support enough, and I'm really grateful for it ð

There are many streamers who are welcome just by being there, so it's okay.
