For now, I think it's best to not worry about the small details and instead divide your expenses into money that definitely goes out every month (fixed costs) and money that goes out but isn't a fixed amount (variable costs), then cut down where you can from the fixed costs. Variable costs often include entertainment, so cutting those means holding back on fun, whereas reviewing fixed costs once can often lead to ongoing savings (like organizing insurance or subscriptions, switching to a cheaper mobile plan, etc.).
