Making Lunchboxes
Finished making tomorrow's (or rather, today's) lunchboxes! For my first kid, I made stuffed bell peppers. For my second kid, I made corn croquettes. Then there's some pecorino-style pasta, the usual egg roll (today it's scrambled eggs), and stir-fried veggies for color... (a futile resistance^^;) It's really tough for us to make lunchboxes in a rush every morning, so I make them the night before, let them cool, put them in the fridge, and have them take them in the morning. I really respect moms who can make lunchboxes in the morning! ✨ As for this 'bad mom' who kept sealing the lids before they cooled, leading to spoiled lunches, this is the best I can do. 💦

You worked so hard making that handmade lunchbox full of love late into the night. It's wonderful and I really admire how you prepare things with such care. Don't blame yourself; your children are surely looking forward to eating that lunchbox.

That's amazing! ✨️✨️ It really makes me reflect on how I didn't truly appreciate my mom's bento boxes when I was a student... Mine were mostly frozen foods, but that doesn't matter. What matters is how grateful I am that she made lunch for me every day, even when busy, and even when I was a rebellious kid... 😭 No matter how much I do, it won't be enough, but I'm doing my best to be a good child these days! 🔥

I think doing what you can within your limits is fine 😊 Besides, just the fact that you're making it properly is already amazing 😆

AuthorThanks for the comments, both of you! 😃💦 I did say I'd make them myself at first though (lol) I'm cheering myself on, telling myself I'm amazing just for making lunchboxes that don't spoil 🤣
