Parents got COVID
Apparently, my dad caught COVID at work, and he'd been coughing for the past few days. But he didn't get a high fever, so I thought it was just a cold? He doesn't even wear a mask. Then yesterday, my mom came down with COVID. She got a proper fever. My mom used to be a caregiver, so she disinfects everywhere she touches. The problem is my dad. He spends a lot of time without his mask on and has this attitude like 'it's not my fault.' And then there's me, a close contact, who's perfectly fine. I'm struggling with my mental health condition, but I don't have a fever and my antigen test was negative. My brother is just acting like it's none of his business. I'm handling the cooking and grocery shopping for my parents. Thinking about how I'll probably end up being the sole caregiver for my parents in their old age makes me feel exhausted already.

If you're sick and relying on others for help, I hope you'll live humbly with gratitude instead of taking it for granted... ð¢ Please take care of yourself first and don't push yourself too hard...
