Sudden fluctuations in posted gem distribution, related to view count bugs?

I usually post on the board about once a week, but recently there's been a bug with view counts not being reflected correctly. Because of this, the distribution percentage suddenly dropped by 50% for top posts, and the number of likes didn't match the views. Now the bug seems to be fixed (image is of my post), view counts are back, and gem counts are recovering as well.
