A white egret on the roof and a black kite on the utility pole.

Against the backdrop of the evening sky, a white egret perched on the roof of a house. While these birds are common in the countryside, I've only ever seen one on a roof like this once before. I watched it for a while, and it was so still, I thought it was part of the roof decoration. I remember it being almost completely motionless for over 30 minutes. Later, I saw a pair of black kites snuggled on top of a utility pole, but they flew away quickly, so I couldn't get a good shot...
