A Summer Spectacle
It's not exactly close by, given the distance in this photo, but the Tamagawa River fireworks festival took place yesterday after midnight. For several years, it was held during the summer, but due to unstable weather patterns in recent summers, it seems to have become common to hold it around this time. Fireworks are strongly associated with summer, and while they are indeed held across the country, places that have repeatedly faced cancellations due to sudden thunderstorms might start considering early autumn dates. However, the riverbanks get quite chilly at night during this season, so make sure to dress warmly.

The fireworks blooming in the night sky are so beautiful. It's wonderful that we can see them like this even as the seasons change, but your kindness, which even considers the chill of the night, warms my heart.
