Just loud
My wife is just loud, no matter what. Whether she's talking to herself, sighing, complaining, or whining, or when she's talking to, scolding, or getting angry at our younger child who has an intellectual disability. Everything is loud. Especially since she often raises her voice towards the younger child, it just makes me feel uncomfortable listening to it.

Intellectual disabilities are tough, aren't they? We have a child with a developmental disability, so it was difficult when they were young, especially since I'm a single mother. But I think it's important to watch over children rather than just scolding them. It gets much easier as they grow up. I know it's hard right now, though. Loud noises are indeed unpleasant to hear. I have panic disorder triggered by loud noises, so it's difficult for me in many places around town. There's a limit to how much one can endure. Feel free to vent anything you need to.

Just raising your voice can be unpleasant. My family also tends to raise our voices a bit when scolding the kids. I'll be more mindful!
