About my piercing
Cartilage piercing, day 74. It's an industrial piercing, but I have to take it out for school. I really don't want it to close up, what should I do... - Don't want it to close - Have to take it out for school (50-minute classes) - Can't even wear a clear stud ↑My healing ability is strong; a membrane forms if I take it out for just 40 minutes... Someone with knowledge, please help me out!

Cartilage piercings can close up easily, so it's understandable to be worried. It's best to avoid removing it forcefully until the hole stabilizes and opt for a clear resin retainer to make it less noticeable. If you absolutely must remove it, consider using a glass plug that matches the gauge of your piercing.

Can't you cut flesh-colored silicone into a good size and stuff it in? I feel like it would be hard to tell if you covered it with concealer or something. It's just a random thought, so I don't know if it's okay though 💦
