I want to listen to music a bit better

Is it okay to ask questions here? I've always enjoyed listening to music. For the past few years, I've been hooked on Vocaloid songs. That's why I've become interested in earphones and music players. I bought decent earphones, and I have a desire to get 'that' someday. I usually love using my inexpensive AGPTEC music player, but I'm considering replacing it. I found out that some people say Walkman is better than the trendy overseas players in the 10,000 to 20,000 yen range. I want to try something in the 10,000 to 20,000 yen range first, and a used one would be within my budget, but would a used Walkman be a good option?
