Sugar
Sugar, Like white snow, Falls silently. Scoop a spoonful, And into the sleeping bitterness, A small light melts. Into the sea of black tea, Into the sourness of fruit, It gently reaches out, And softly envelops Sharp tastes. Once melted, Its form is unseen. Yet, only the sweetness, Like a distant spring, Remains forever At the back of the tongue.
