You're Beautiful (Japanese Version)

『 You're Beautiful』 Cast ~ Miori Takimoto, Yuta Tamamori, Taisuke Fujigaya ~ Synopsis ~ This is a cross-dressing romantic comedy where Miko, a twin sister training in a convent, temporarily joins the popular band "A.N.JELL" for three months as a substitute for her twin brother, Minam, who dreams of becoming a singer. ~ Review ~ This is the Japanese remake of "You're Beautiful," which was a massive hit in Korea. Kis-My-Ft2's debut song "Everybody Go" was used as the theme song. As it's a remake of a popular Korean drama, there were various pros and cons, but I personally thought it was quite good. Of course, it doesn't quite measure up to the original Korean version, but I believe the Japanese version had its own merits, such as the way the drama concluded and the resolution of the conflict with the mother, which felt better handled than in the Korean version.
