Good morning! 😃 Last night, while I was playing a game, I heard a sound of water leaking. I thought it might be raining and opened the curtains, but it wasn't raining... When I glanced to the side, I saw water leaking from the air conditioner! 😳 We scrambled to move the TV and grab towels!! Then, I noticed my grandchild holding a bucket 🪣 and saying they were here to help (lol). It was a moment when the 'oh no!' turned into laughter.

Air conditioners are often installed above home appliances, so please be careful of secondary damage (like water damage and malfunction of appliances) if your AC leaks water. It's likely that the air conditioner's drain hose is clogged with insects or debris, or the hose outlet has been turned upwards. This might sound unsanitary, but clearing a clogged hose can sometimes be improved by cleaning the outlet and briefly sucking on it with your mouth. Please be careful not to suck too hard, as insects, debris, or drain water could enter your mouth. Conversely, blowing into it is not recommended as water can spray back into the room from the AC, but if you hear gurgling sounds from weak, continuous blowing, I think it's best to remove your mouth immediately.
