Aging?

When I watch manga with young boys and girls as protagonists, I find myself thinking, 'Ah, kids these days are really living their youth~ They're going through hardships even though they're so young~' Now that I've become a tired adult, I'm finding it harder to simply empathize with works where young characters take center stage. Instead, I've become able to enjoy stories featuring middle-aged and older characters, and I guess that's just how it is.
