I almost lost my cool

Inside the drawer where I keep shelf-stable groceries, the bag of pancake mix was carelessly torn open, and the drawer became completely covered in white powder (゜_゜) I was horrified, thinking there might be mice or something, but upon closer inspection of the torn bag, it was clearly ripped by human hands. My daughter, looking guilty, quickly retreated to her room, so I just cleaned out the drawer, disposed of the torn bag, and gave her a warning. I'm so glad it wasn't some kind of pest (ヽ´ω`)
