Something I learned for the first time after many years

I've been a streamer for about 5 years, and I used to think I knew most of IRIAM... But that was just on the surface, and I didn't really understand what the listeners were thinking. Recently, I had a chance to have a deep conversation with a listener... They told me about experiencing a dilemma, even if it wasn't full-blown romantic feelings. According to them: 'I'm happy when the streamer I support grows and gets more concurrent viewers. But at the same time, I feel like the 'emotional distance' between us grows too.' This comment really struck me... I realized how shallow my thinking had been all this time. How I hadn't truly understood the pure feelings of the listeners. I felt a great deal of remorse... Sure, there are some listeners with intense romantic feelings who can be quite bothersome. But I learned that even if it's not to that extent, there are listeners who face this kind of dilemma. It's not that I want to monopolize my favorite streamer, but seeing them become closer with many other listeners feels complicated~ I was taught this anew. I'll take this as a valuable lesson.

It's a common thing for professions that deal with many people, like idols, writers, and athletes. Long-time fans feel like they've raised their own children because they've been through thick and thin together.

Even if IRIAM understands, people's hearts are all different, aren't they? I also support new streamers, but I wonder if I'll feel lonely when they gain more listeners. But as long as I'm supporting them, I want them to become popular! If my favorite becomes famous, knowing my personality, I might quietly step back. It made me think from the listener's perspective too.
