Speaking of which, I remember there were quite a few birds inside a glass enclosure in the Sapporo underground mall for some reason. Here's a decent photo I took of them (´･ω･)っ I'm not sure if they're still there, but there were birds of all sorts of colors~

Seeing them snuggle up through the glass is so heartwarming, it feels like my soul is being cleansed. The contrasting expressions of the two birds are just adorable, I couldn't help but stare, hou.

It's the little bird plaza in the underground mall Aurora Town~! Many budgies were kept there since long ago and I used to go often when I was little! Although the number of birds kept has decreased compared to the past, I heard from an acquaintance in Sapporo that it's become more stylish and the breeding environment has improved. It seems to still be there~
