Junior Who Evades Responsibility
I have a junior colleague who avoids taking responsibility for their work. They've been here for a long time, but their skills haven't improved much, and they lack knowledge, making them unable to take responsibility. Will people like this ever grow? I'm unsure how to guide them day by day.

It's really tough work to guide subordinates who run away from their responsibilities. How about first pointing out the current situation specifically, setting achievable small goals, and clarifying their scope of responsibility? If there's still no improvement, it might be time to re-evaluate their aptitude, including a potential reassignment.
