I feel like the best part of King of Fighters is the satisfaction of pulling off combos yourself while directly controlling your character haha. At first, timing the special moves was harder than I expected and I kept messing up, but it feels so rewarding when you finally land a combo after some practice. Each character has a distinct set of moves and playstyle, so even after mastering one, trying out another feels fresh. Especially when both players are low on health and a single attack can decide the match, it gets super intense even though the rounds are short haha. It's a game where you actually get better the more you play because it's not just about button mashing; you need to watch your opponent's movements and time your attacks.
