MapleStory M has quite a few player-vs-player competitive systems. One of them, the Colosseum, will be starting again on Tuesday, August 11th. The Colosseum matches players with similar combat power based on their overall server combat strength. So, if you save up your weapon pulls, companion pulls, cubes, Star Force scrolls, etc., until then, and then boost your combat power after the Colosseum starts, you'll have a higher chance of ranking first :)

I used to play MapleStory way back when Mechanic and Angelic Buster were new characters, and I reinstalled it because of those memories. It seems like they've gathered elements like Star Force and Potential, which are in MapleStory now, so you could get familiar with Maple World through MapleStory World and then transition to the regular MapleStory. However, character customization in MapleStory World is almost entirely paid, so as a representative of 'Ssal-soongi' (a term likely referring to someone who uses in-game currency sparingly), I'm doing my best to dress up my character with coupons and event items. I wish there were cosmetic items available for purchase with in-game currency.

This game gives you a lot of gems and it's super satisfying to kill monsters. I definitely recommend playing this.

Wait, what?! I completed the MapleStory hidden quest when I reached level 20 and got 40,000 Gems, but it still hasn't registered as completed.
