I recently listened to aespa's Japanese mini-album <KISS N TELL> and it was seriously the best ever. I highly recommend playing it on YouTube and watching along. Since it's in Japanese, I've written down the chorus lyrics and their Korean pronunciations. Please show lots of interest in the song! The fish we commonly call 'ureok' is actually named 'jopibollog' (Sebastes schlegelii). So, what does the dictionary say? When you search for 'ureok' in the dictionary, one entry appears, and if you look closely, it says 'synonym' as 'ureokbollog' below it. However, 'ureokbollog' is not the 'ureok' we know. It's said to be smaller than the 'ureok' we know, and sometimes used in spicy fish stew. Then what is 'jopibollog', and why did it become 'ureok'? First, 'jopi' in 'jopibollog' means 'rough skin', likely because its outer skin looks rough. The reason it became 'ureok' goes back to the Joseon Dynasty. In the Joseon era, the Silhak scholar Seo Yu-gu wrote 'ul-eogeo' for jopibollog in <Jeoneoji>. This was later modified to become 'ureok'. 'Ureok' doesn't just refer to fish. Before jopibollog became widespread as 'ureok', 'ureok' originally referred to a type of clam. Summary! Looking for someone to team up with for the dungeon! The monster's HP is almost gone! When playing games, I often see ads for Royal Match that claim it's an easy game with no king-saving involved. I thought this game would be another misleading ad. But surprisingly, the UI is faster than other games, there are no ads, and the puzzles aren't particularly difficult.
