Last Z has a zombie apocalypse vibe, so it might seem a bit heavy at first, but once you start playing, there's a subtle fun in leveling up characters and developing your base, which makes you want to keep playing lol. Defending against zombies while gathering resources and strengthening your gear and characters is simple yet gives a constant sense of growth, which I liked. Especially when you easily push through zombie waves that were tough at first because you were weak, after leveling up your characters and getting better gear, it feels unexpectedly rewarding lol. When you get new characters or equipment, you'll want to try different combinations, which keeps you playing. Seeing your base develop little by little makes you think, "I'll just level it up a bit more before I log off," and then quite a bit of time passes. It's that kind of game.
