I'd say I'm pretty decent at rhythm games

I play a lot of rhythm games like DJMAX and Arcaea, but I find Cytus's charts hard to read... (Still, the story is fun so I buy the packs)

Robohead Analysis (Spoilers Included)

I'm currently analyzing the story, and (as you know, the story is running dry) I've discovered something interesting. In the early Robohead, Nora's logs, specifically the second log, there's a scene where Nora first activates Robohead. At this point, Robohead seemed like a robot just preparing to receive commands. (Searching data repository... Search failed. Judgment: Insufficient data. Nora, please supplement the data for the second protected individual. It seemed to be focused on executing its own directives.) However, if you look at Nora's final log later on, Robo becomes more proactive in expressing its own intentions, like 'I want to make Nora happy,' and if you disregard its speech patterns, it possesses empathy comparable to humans. What's interesting here is that, based on Cytus 2, there are no other examples of AI at this level being created with the technology of the new era. While the Architect gained self-awareness due to an error, this one, on the other hand, was born from human hands.

Thanks to one purchase, Cytus creates another tree's worth of air today.

To put it simply, Cytus has tons of songs, a wide variety of genres, and the story can easily exceed 100 hours with the DLC. I personally played for 100 hours even without buying the DLC. The game's structure itself is designed to be increasingly addictive the more you play, so even if I've finished the story and have nothing else to do, I still play for at least 30 minutes daily, like a lifeline. Yes, it's that game that recently collaborated with Project SEKAI. Please, let's save Cytus. I downloaded it during the free period, but I genuinely want to give them my money now. Thanks to one purchase, Cytus creates another tree's worth of air today.

Re:Boost

[CHAOS 11+] First off, the speed is significantly higher than other songs. It has a chart similar to Green Hope, which I cleared with a high score last time, with a lot of difficult sections concentrated in specific areas, so individual performance can vary. It's to the point where it feels like a low-tier 11 to a mid-tier 12. It's really intense. In my case, I got cut off in unnecessary sections due to the speed. PS: Due to recent condition issues, it's hard to upload even one song a day. If I'm picking up a tissue instead of a cup to get water... I'll still try my best to upload.

Green Hope

[CHAOS 12] It's been a while since my last info post. Anyway, getting straight to the point, this song is considerably faster than the previous one. Also, the flick notes in between can be quite distracting or hard to see, so you need to be careful as they can easily be missed. I messed up once during a burst section around the middle. Make sure to get the rhythm down. This song just chips away at you with its instantaneous parts (...). And the problem that trumps all these issues: the song is 3 minutes long. Just playing 3-minute songs can drive you insane. Take breaks appropriately. P.S.: I went to an arcade for 3 days out of my 5-day trip to Gwangju and played rhythm games, so my condition is beyond words. That's why I only managed to play 2 songs today, including this CHAOS one.

PAFF Mil-Mak

If I need to do 106 more charts for the Mil-Mak, and each song takes about 3 minutes, that means I'd need to spend about 318 minutes. Converting that to hours, it's around 5 hours. It could take longer or shorter. Also, since this Mil-Mak includes DLC, it's a financial threat. Conclusion: I was able to keep my sanity only because it's PAFF.

What the heck...?

Wait, so if I play the low-level stages, I suddenly get a lot of points in the high-level stages...? Should I do this? My skill level is so inconsistent...

Gravity

[CHAOS 12+] Like other songs by PAFF, this one is heavy on off-beats. The beginning and middle sections proceed normally with off-beats, but the final intense part has two instances of 3-note triplets. If you handle these with your right hand using the pattern middle-index-middle, index-middle-index, you can clear it well. If you try to hit the triplets with just one finger, you'll miss almost every time. PS: To fill out the MM count, I'm also grinding the EZ and Hard difficulties. Only 116 left now. I think I'll go crazy if I only grind Paff.

SECRET;WEAPON

[CHAOS 14] I initially wanted to get a Million Master (MM) before posting this, but I kept missing one note, so I'm uploading it like this. From the start, it's a rhythm of 'dudududutang' for 5 trills, followed by flick notes. This repetition gets tricky with multiple misses. Plus, before the highlight section, there's the legendary spinning vortex (....) chart. I have a personal trick for this part: when it speeds up, I say 'boooang boooang boooang boooang' out loud to match the rhythm. Then, when it stops below and you hold the long note, you can pass without missing. But after that, the 'dudududutang' comes back. I got caught off guard by it. P.S. If I get an MM next time, I'll post it in the thread and comments.

Restriction

[CHAOS 11] It features note placements early on that force you to constantly change hand positions (you'll get the idea by watching a chart video). Before entering the highlight, after slowing down, it suddenly accelerates, so don't be surprised and calmly handle the notes. After that, the highlight is full of simultaneous presses. There's a common saying in rhythm games that hitting with both fingers at the same time is the hardest. So, it's advisable to be careful not to lose TP by getting distracted here. Also, among the songs in the ROBO_Head chapter, there aren't many drag notes, and even if there are, you can mash them with 'daji'. For thumb users... my condolences. (This is why not many people play Cytus 2 with their thumbs.) P.S.: I was going crazy just playing PAFF's songs, so I picked one from the ROBO chapter to try. I guess I have to go back to PAFF... I hope these review posts will be helpful to newbies starting Cytus 2 in the future.
