No change in the arena, and I'm actually winning less often, so sometimes I just let the chest opening time pass. I'm watching ads, going on adventures, progressing through the main story a bit, and opening killer chests. This is how I plan to grow for now.

Entered Arena 10. Units, excluding those available from events or the shop, are unlocked as you climb the arenas. The best unit obtainable through arenas will be unlocked upon entering Arena 12. These are units like the dragons. Since the units you can get from the same chest vary based on your arena progression, it's best to buy chests from the shop only after unlocking more arenas!

Entered Arena 9. Often get stuck in adventures, the main story, or events because I can't win in the later stages. Since I'm a free-to-play player, I open chests from ads, wait to open arena chests, and gradually strengthen my troops to clear stages. For the main story, I entered the 5th map, got wiped out, so now I'm clearing the 4th map by spending 500 gems to open the locked area, getting wiped out and then clearing it.

After entering Arena 8, it got tough. To climb to Arena 9, you have to face enemies grouped in masses of 400-500, even with basic characters. I'm aiming for a free-to-play clear by going back and forth between Adventure and the main story, watching ads.

For weekly/monthly quests, even if it's a hassle, make sure to watch ads for the double reward! Daily quests have low rewards, so they're optional. Also, if the enemy formation is mostly melee, you can chip away at them with AoE characters while kiting with a melee character that has good mobility. This can help cover some characters that would otherwise be easily defeated. For magic, slow or stun effects are a must!

It uses troop types, box designs, and character stats that are almost identical to the Heroes series released on mobile a few years ago. It's likely the same company brought over the database and only changed the story and some of the designs. Still fun though. For reference, ads are not mandatory, and there are no intrusive ads during gameplay. However, free-to-play players need to consistently watch ads in the shop to gather resources and troops to progress. Also, save your gems for breaking through maps. Each map has a pink gate that requires gems to pass. Note that you don't necessarily have to go through it, and it doesn't affect the story. Think of it as a bonus stage, but since the rewards are more valuable than the gems, it's advisable to use them whenever possible. That's all!
