Why am I not getting the 4-1 reward?

I'm on 8-1 right now and not getting any rewards. The time quests are also getting stingier. I downloaded this game because people said it was sweet, but sigh.

Games for people in their 20s and 30s~ It seems like it'll be hard for people 50 and older to understand the game~ T_T

Skills..

I can only shoot a skill once or twice and then I'm just left with basic attacks... Are skills supposed to be this underwhelming? Or am I just not playing it right..;;
