Challenging the Master Ball climb with a Ghost Party

어제 한탄글 올리고 오늘 10시 59분 까지인 랭배 더블도 마볼 등반했습니다. 역시 찌르호크 주축이구요. 파티는 엘풍/찌르호크/페리퍼/대쓰여너(수컷)/픽시/망나뇽입니다. 메진몬은 찌르호크&망나뇽이구요. 망나뇽은 선출 잘 안했고 엘풍-찌르호크 선발/ 페리퍼-대쓰여너 후발했습니다. 상대가 느린듯 싶으면 짖맘 엘풍이 1턴 애교부리기, 메가 찌르호크의 심꾸 특성으로 칼춤과동시에 인파이트로 하나 잡아내고 시작했구요. 2턴때 순풍으로 다잡아내거나 찌르호크랑 엘풍이 죽으면 힘의 머리띠 찬 쓱쓱 대쓰여너가 남은 순풍턴동안 페리퍼랑 같이 쓸어버렸습니다. 픽시도 가끔 냈는데, 상대가 비파티일때 냈습니다. 날따름/전자파/문포스/생명의 물방울로 찌르호크+대쓰여너 피관리 하는 서포터였습니다. 약간 '그러게 찌르호크한테 죽어주지 그랬어' 라는 마인드로? 아무튼 행복합니다. 성불!!

Reached Master with a 4-game win streak

Today, we'll be taking a look at Corviknight, the troublesome bird from PokeMMO. It's a common stall Pokemon in PokeMMO, with the Steel/Flying typing. First off, it resists Steel, Normal, Dragon, Flying, Psychic, and Fairy attacks by half. And with resistances of 0.25x to Bug and Grass, and 0x to Poison and Ground, it has a crazy typing. Its stats are also wild: 105 Defense and 85 Special Defense. Simply put, once it uses Bulk Up, you can pretty much forget about catching it with neutral physical attacks. Its typical move set is Bulk Up, Body Press, Roost, and one other move. Its abilities are Pressure, Inner Focus, and Mirror Armor, but usually, people go with Pressure or Mirror Armor. With Pressure, it sits there and slowly grinds down the opponent, and with Mirror Armor, it reflects stat drops, making it a truly annoying bird. An easy way to counter it is to use moves that hit its weaknesses, like Flare Drive, or to target its weak Special Defense. But what if your special attacker has low power and can't even hit its weaknesses? Oh, sh*t lol

My Doubles rank is Hyper 2... sigh.... I kept losing and winning.. Why is my Staraptor so weak? (Honestly, I feel like I'd rather use Regigigas than this thing lol) But going to Master Ball with your favorite Pokémon = Romance + Romanticism = Valid, right? Anyway, how did I do it in Singles? Thankfully, a crazy Blaziken didn't show up, so with my Dusclops, I used Tailwind + Swords Dance + Baton Pass + if the chance arises, Rock Slide and passed it to Staraptor. Then, Staraptor, who received the baton, started getting 1-hit KOs. Just having Tailwind up makes it pull its weight, and if Swords Dance was passed too, unless it's a Ghost-type, you can just 'Close Combat click' and win. Considering Tailwind and mirror matches against Staraptor, I chose Adamant nature. As the original 'suicidal bird', its moveset is Brave Bird / Close Combat / U-turn / Blaze Kick - a 4-attack set. Blaze Kick is good for surprise KOs on things like Kingdra or Metagross. For the remaining slot, I used Rampardos. (Great for dealing with annoying Shedinja) Its ability is Mold Breaker. Moveset is Thunderbolt / Solar Beam / Rock Slide / Draco Meteor. Solar Beam is there to wreck Ground-types once Power Herb is available. Dusclops was Timid (I think?). Speed boost, Sp. Attack drop.

Sand Party or Bee Party? Which one should I do?

Mine's just a random party I put together myself, but it can reach Master rank! By the way, my Scizor that's been the most active is my ace!! It's an HB Metal Coat Scizor I made based on Mono's sample!! What kind of parties are you guys using?
