It popped up on my algorithm again. I do know Jewelry. I've heard their songs Superstar, One More Time, and I Really Like You somewhere from variety shows or elsewhere. It might not be a memory for teens and 20s, but it's likely a nostalgic memory for those in their 30s, 40s, and 50s. Song Order 1. One More Time 2. I Really Like You 3. Tonight 4. Superstar

Actually, today, September 15th, is my birthday 🎂. I feel like I'm getting birthday wishes twice today, maybe because I received a 'Best Board' congratulation this morning. Just to be clear, the morning wishes were from our entire board, so please don't misunderstand. I'm not trying to throw a huge birthday party here. I'm just posting this because I'd like you to listen to a birthday song with me. The song I want to share today is one I really love: J Rabbit's 'Happy Birthday to You'. I always listen to this song on my birthday. It's because J Rabbit's vocalist, Jung Hye-sun, has such a clear and healing voice. I've introduced J Rabbit here many times before, so I'll skip the detailed explanation. I'm from the countryside and currently live alone in Seoul. So, at lunchtime, I had a video call with my mom and my dog 🐶 who I left at home. I also had a drink with friends last Saturday to celebrate. I guess I'm greedy and want to receive congratulations from all of you too. As a gift 🤎

Logging in and posting! I hope you don't look at me weirdly because of the cover art (I'm definitely not feeling guilty about anything though) It's just next in my playlist, that's all. No misunderstandings! +It's not for adults, but the lyrics are pretty spicy ++There's a lyric interpretation on YouTube, but it might hurt you to see it, so I recommend not watching it.

This is the song 'Mobile Phone Song' released by singer Can in 2009. It's a cover of the Japanese hit 'Keitai Aiga' (Mobile Love Song), and they even translated the somewhat silly lyrics as closely as possible. It's an ironic song where the poignant vocals and melody clash with the unexpectedly silly lyrics, striking a chord. lololol My phone is a bit like this song, so I'll be back after wiping away some tears. ㅠㅠ I hope this song sticks in your ears too~ Thanks for listening today :-)

Since the fog has cleared and the sky is bright, I'm listening to a children's song to clear my mind!! Our area is clear and bright after the fog! (It's a shame I can't upload links and photos together, but it was so foggy you could barely see the buildings in front... ㅠㅜ) <The Painter - Lyrics & Music by Lee Kang-san> Full Lyrics Released May 10, 1992. ✎︎＿＿＿＿＿＿＿＿＿＿＿＿＿＿＿＿＿＿＿＿＿＿＿＿＿＿＿＿ In a park cleared of fog A mustachioed painter uncle Butterflies flutter by And the flowers are smiling La la la la la la La la la la la la While humming a tune He was drawing them very beautifully With a clear blue innocent heart

Listening to this on my way to work Gives me some energy! 😆 Hope everyone has a happy rest of the day! 🍀

In remote areas, like old American coal mining towns, there were so-called "company stores." The company would issue paychecks as scrip or vouchers, which could be used instead of cash to buy goods. They also handled credit services. Naturally, this was a company scheme. It was a system to reclaim employees' wages, and goods and rent were priced higher than market rates. If you got into bad credit, you could never leave that town. They also prevented the use of dollars, and employees were exploited, bound by debt. It was essentially modern-day slavery. It's like the underground labor camp in <Kaiji: Ultimate Survivor>. Today's song, "Sixteen Tons," comes from this context. It's a song about the sorrow of a poor miner who has pawned even his soul to the company store due to lack of money, growing older while his debt only increases. As a side note, these malicious practices disappeared due to reasons such as the formation of labor unions and strikes, the enactment of laws mandating that wages be paid in legal currency, and workers purchasing vehicles.

My favorite ballad & hip-hop artist. This is a song by Sunny Side's MJ. It's a song that strongly evokes the feeling of the Mini-hompy era, with Ban Hana's sorrowful vocals and MJ's calmly yet heartbreakingly emotional rap blending perfectly.

This is The Weeknd's mega-hit song [Blinding Lights], released in 2019. It's an 80s-style synth-pop song that captures the loneliness of a man yearning for his loved one. Considered one of the most successful songs in popular music history, it's the first song to stay in the Billboard Top 10 for over 52 weeks.
