Luau is a scripting language used by creators in Roblox Studio. It's a fast, small, safe, gradually-typed, embeddable scripting language derived from Lua 5.1. It maintains backward compatibility with Lua 5.1 while adding sandboxing features. -- Basic Coding -- Variable Declaration: Declared with the 'local' keyword without a data type, valid only within the current script. Print Statement: Outputs values to the console using the format print("hello, world"). Conditional Statements: Uses the 'if condition then ~ elseif ~ else ~ end' structure. Loops: Uses 'while condition do ~ end' or 'for i = 1, 10 do ~ end'.
