Air conditioners won't work if the temperature gets too high?
*You must join the board before commenting. (The photo is a related post uploaded previously for reference.) I heard this while watching Shorts: that air conditioners can't be used above 45 degrees Celsius. If that's the case, you'd need a desert-specific AC, which apparently consumes a lot of electricity. Is this true? And what should we do if they can't be used? First off, they can still be used even if the temperature exceeds 45 degrees Celsius. Air conditioner tests have T1 to T3 levels, and while we typically use T1 (24-35°C) as a standard, Samsung and LG have stated that their internal tests show no major issues up to 50°C. Samsung and LG have even stated they test up to 49°C. However, it's true that cooling efficiency can decrease as the ambient temperature rises. Since the AC's job is to release indoor heat outdoors, it becomes difficult to dissipate heat when it's extremely hot outside. Desert and Southeast Asian regions use T3, which is standardized for 24-46°C, higher than T1. The issue is that it consumes more electricity. Samsung and LG have mentioned that while cooling performance would improve, the sales price would also increase. They also noted that water sprayers for AC outdoor units can help but cautioned about corrosion.

A vocabulary word and a pop song to easily remember it.
I considered posting this in the Freedom or other sections, but since introducing the song isn't the main purpose, I'm posting it here. 'Ebony' means ebony wood. Black wood. There was a song I'd heard occasionally before. It's a song by Paul McCartney and Stevie Wonder called 'Ebony & Ivory'. https://youtu.be/mGjv2bZuIaw?si=IllRITTneOo0IRlE Without knowing the meaning, I vaguely heard it and thought, 'It's about Ebony and Ivory living together,' or maybe they were names. Then I got curious and looked it up. Ebony is ebony wood. And Ivory, as many of you know, means ivory. Which is white. These two represent the black and white keys of a piano. Ebony and Ivory refer to the two colors of piano keys. So, the song carries the meaning of Black and White people living together in harmony. Most older folks probably know this, but if you're young and don't know Stevie Wonder or Paul McCartney, you should look them up. You should know them as common knowledge.

Future FloBoard Update
(Information received via inquiry) 1. The board description editing feature will be updated later (cannot be edited now). 2. We will internally review the banner image change feature. Well.. this is the answer I got for a feature request inquiry, so there's not much.. haha Honestly, even if I directly asked what they'll do next, they probably wouldn't have told me much. Personally, the banner update is the feature I want the most 👍👍 Good night everyone! 🌙 It's already early morning 😢

The Oort Cloud is a Hypothesis?
You might think the Oort Cloud exists because it's often depicted as if it were real, but it's merely a hypothesis. First, the Oort Cloud originates from the fundamental nature of comets. Comet orbits are inherently unstable, meaning they inevitably collide with the Sun or get flung out. Thus, we can see they don't form in typical planetary orbits. The hypothesis is that there's a region somewhere in the outer solar system where small celestial bodies have gathered (the Oort Cloud), and external influences cause these small bodies to deviate from their positions, becoming comets. The Oort Cloud is vast, but it's 'estimated' that its total mass wouldn't exceed 5 times that of Earth, and its size is also unknown. Classical opinions suggest 50,000 AU, while others propose 130,000 AU (the distance to the Centaurus constellation is 270,000 AU). Most in the astronomical community believe this cloud exists through mathematical models and consider it a hypothesis derived from analyzing the orbits of long-period comets. However, some scientists question this (it hasn't been observed yet, and some argue that objects aren't coming from the Oort Cloud but are captured by the Sun's gravity, e.g., Comet Borisov).

Is this a bug? lol
I went into the party report and saw a big head, so I thought it was an update, but only I, who changed my profile, am shown small. Is this happening to anyone else?

[English] The expression "catch 22" used by Americans
When I watch American dramas and come across an unknown expression, I quickly switch the subtitles to English to check. Then I search for it. Sometimes, I find something useful. "Catch 22" means a dilemma or a difficult situation where you're stuck. It's said to have originated from a novel. You all know that 'catch' means 'to grab,' right? Apparently, a derived meaning is 'rule.' Because if you don't follow the rule, you get caught. haha Catch 22 means rule number 22. But in the novel, rule 22 is contradictory and nonsensical. That's how "catch 22" came to mean a situation where you can't do anything. If you ever have a chance to use it, try showing off your knowledge by saying, "It's catch twenty two."
