Obsession is definitely not good. It causes pain to people. To the one being obsessed over, to the one obsessing, and even to the observer. However, since obsessing is a matter of the heart, how can it be wrong? In fact, by trying too hard not to obsess, one might even find pain in the obsession of not obsessing. So, let's not suppress the obsessions in our hearts too much, but let them flow! It will pass anyway. Perhaps then, one can let go of both general obsessions and the obsession of not obsessing. I wrote this post because I thought people might obsess, regret, then obsess over not obsessing, and suffer because of it. I hope this post helps someone.
