I went to see 'Playback'
It's not a musical, but I went to see the play 'Playback'. While exchanging tickets, I thought it was thorough checking IDs for everyone, even though they all looked like adults. After watching it, I realized why they checked so carefully... the content. The actor filled the stage alone for 90 minutes. I came back impressed, thinking the actor was amazing.

Oh, a musical fan meetup!
My nickname, Brontë, actually comes from the Brontë sisters (Charlotte Brontë, author of Jane Eyre; Emily Brontë, author of Wuthering Heights; and Anne Brontë, author of Agnes Grey), who I came to love even more through musicals! They were a family of writers who left a significant mark on English literature. There was an original musical called 'Brontë' that told the story of the three sisters. And there was a licensed musical called 'Wasted' that depicted the lives of all four siblings, including their brother Branwell Brontë, who didn't achieve recognition as a writer. The original production of 'Brontë' was incredibly popular, making tickets extremely hard to get, and it was truly wonderful... but personally, I really loved 'Wasted' that was put on by Yeonkeukyeoljeon! I saw there was a musical fan board, so I decided to ramble a bit lolll Lately, I've been watching Billy Elliot and The Great Comet diligently. Right now, there are so many plays I want to see that I'm taking a bit of a break from musicals... Hope everyone can get some money from 'PlayOn' to live a slightly more comfortable musical fan life!

Actor Choi Jae-rim
How I got into musicals~ Remember how the ventriloquist scene from the musical Chicago used to pop up a lot on Shorts and was super famous? That's when I first saw actor Choi Jae-rim. The more I watched, the more I realized how great his singing and acting were, and he started looking handsome to me! So I started searching, and then I found musicals like Kinky Boots (the Angels are so pretty ♡♡), Aida, and Matilda, which I looked up on my phone. I also found tons of broadcasts and videos featuring actor Choi Jae-rim and got really into him haha. Then, on YouTube, I subscribed to a creator who posts musical-related Shorts, watched other musical scenes, and that's how I came to love musicals! Plus, I actually saw the musical Mrs. Doubtfire (actor Choi Jae-rim isn't in it), and it was absolutely... absolutely the best!! All the songs were so good, and the acting and story, everything was just great!! The bummer is that I'm not an adult yet and it's expensive, so I couldn't see the musical Chicago... ㅜㅜ If I have the time and money later, I want to see more musicals!

Favorite Musical
Hmm, I feel like the first post after making a board is always the hardest haha In times like these, talking about your favorite musical is the most fun~!! Does anyone have a favorite musical? My favorite musical is 'Hongryeon' I loved the numbers and the story so much, it was so enjoyable that as soon as I saw it, I decided I had to see it again! It might have also been because I saw it from the first row in the center, but haha I did manage to get tickets (8th attempt), but I'm not great at ticketing, so I regret not being able to see 'Kongryeon' and it's a shame ㅜ I wonder when it will come back.. My favorite number is M10. Hongryeon! I liked it because it felt like the atmosphere changed from that point onwards haha I don't know how many people here like musicals, or if there are any at all, but talking about what you love is always the most enjoyable thing to do haha Since I had to write something, I just rambled on a bit.
