I tried playing this game after seeing a recommendation on a board game forum! Overall, I'm satisfied with the art style and story 🥰 <Pros> 1. The cute, hand-drawn-like art style + character designs are charming, and I like the overall dreamy vibe. 2. The pet yokai are so cute lol 3. The merge items also have a nice art style, and the controls feel good when they generate. 4. Instead of the common trope of a restaurant being destroyed, the story feels fresh so far, with the concept of a restaurant operating in the afterlife. <Cons> 1. It's not on Playo yet, so you can't earn gems by playing ㅠㅠ

Someone at the board cafe told me about a new merge game, so I played Queen's Comeback Merge Game for about 30 minutes. I'll share my personal thoughts and review 😆 <Pros> 1. The in-game story cutscenes use 3D graphics instead of 2D, which feels a bit like The Sims? Or watching a short animation. It's quite refreshing. 2. You can set the village's weather (3 types) and time of day. 3. Every time you level up, you get bonus starter level-up rewards in addition to the regular ones. I don't know how many levels the starter rewards go up to yet. 4. I like that the story dialogues are of a moderate length. 5. Usually, you have to complete burning events or orders to fill a gauge and get rewards, but here it seems to fill up faster since it only requires filling 8 slots, compared to other merge games that require 12. <Cons> 1. When merging items by touching the synthesis tools, there's a slight stutter when the items drop. The motion isn't very smooth. 2. There are cases where 2 or more merge items can come from a single synthesis tool, and the probability can be frustrating. Sometimes I don't get what I want even after using 40-50 energy.

When I do a lot of different things, I end up deleting some of the ones I started earlier. But I'm still continuing with this merge! haha

I'm currently hooked on 'Queen's Comeback: Merge & Story Game' and 'Merge Age: Stone Haven'~ I recommend Queen's Comeback for its dramatic, over-the-top story, and Merge Age for its cute graphics, though it's a bummer that the energy depletes so quickly.

What are some merge games similar to Travel Town and Tasty Travels? Looking for ones with eye-catching graphics.

The merge game I've spent the most money on is Travel Town! Before I knew it, I was making in-game purchases. I thought, 'It won't be much... just a small amount...' but then my eyes welled up..😱😭 It's all a pointless endeavor, really.. haha. Now I just play when my energy refills! There are plenty of other merge games out there anyway💜

This is a recently released game, haha. It's a shame it's not on PlayO yet ㅜㅜㅜ (Please upload it to PlayO pleaseㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠ!!!!) I'm really into it these days. It's fun decorating the restaurant beautifully, and the story is quite solid too ㅎㅎㅎㅎ The freshest part is the yokai gacha!! You can draw cute yokai and merge (combine) them. When offline, these yokai generate items and gold for you. They're so cute ㅜㅜ

I'll introduce 5 merge games that I used to play but gradually stopped playing and eventually quit. (Personally, I prefer merge items with pretty graphics.) 1. Cat Garden Merge I think the merge board space was too insufficient. The graphics weren't bad, but there wasn't a strong pull for me. 2. Merge Town To upgrade buildings, you needed things like food. Usually, in merge games, you upgrade with parts obtained from toolboxes after completing orders, but in this one, you had to continuously collect meat from the restaurant... and the amount collected was extremely small in the beginning, making it tough 🥲 3. Merge Merge Cat Cafe You make dishes with merge items and redecorate the cafe, but I was a bit disappointed that there were no options for furniture design. 4. Merge Crime It was fresh to mix detective stories with a merge game, but I wasn't drawn to it because the merge items were too focused on investigation-related things. 5. Round Round Goose Gym I played this really fun game for about 2 years, but the monetization elements gradually increased, and it was always the same pay-to-win events ㅠ
